Introducing you to an elite member of the new generation of music and entrepreneurship: Freeman "DJ FREEEZ" McGaw. A young leader and mentor with more to learn, as much as he has to offer your organization.

Freeman McGaw is originally from Somerset, New Jersey. From a Franklin High School Warrior, to Bowie State University Bulldog. At an early age, McGaw's entrepreneurship edge had evidently been encouraged by his passion of MUSIC.

DJ Freeez is a Mixer & On-Air Talent on the fast track to becoming a household name. As one of Radio One-Washington DC titans, Freeez has been a premier DJ for the college club circuits and DC nightlife since 2010. While attending his alma mater, Bowie State University, HBCUBuzz.com awarded DJ Freeez with a spot in their Top 5 HBCU DJs of the Year in 2014. He's young, but not a rookie. This DJ has worked at multiple recording studios on the East Coast, learning the craft of Audio and Broadcast Engineering. By 2014 he'd opened up for The Chainsmokers for the Campus DJ Competition (North Carolina); 2015 - toured with IDK through Austin, TX for 11-shows (SXSW Conference & Festival); 2017 - DJ'd MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen (Beauty and the Beatz); Headlined WKYS's 2017 & 2018 Summer Block Parties; 2018's KYSMas Concert (Tory Lanez, Pardison Fontaine, Beau Young Prince); 2018's MLB All-Star Weekend (MLB Assembly, Washington DC).

Nonetheless, he's an advocate for higher learning, touring elementary schools and high schools, hosting countless collegial events. Freeez has performed for University of Maryland, Bowie State University, Howard University, Norfolk State, Georgetown, and George Mason University Homecomings; then multiple speaking engagements when he's not behind the turntables.

Whether he is spinning at corporate events, universities, On-Air at 93.9 WKYS, or skillfully entertaining the clubs and party scenes with others; Freeez brings personality, energy, and music that ignites all crowds. The Turbulence Series is a reflection of that. Established in 2015, The Turbulence Tour is a party series made from his published mixtapes that reflect the energies of DJ Freeez and the nostalgic New Jersey culture he grew up in. You will hear DJ Freeez mixing weekdays at 9PM for the #1 Evening Mixshow, "The 9 O'Clock Check-In" & Weekend Overnights at 12-2AM for the "Saturday Midnight Mix With DJ Freeez" on Washington DC's 93.9 WKYS-FM.

McGaw's interests include Radio Broadcast, Journalism, Entertainment News, Audio Engineering, Audio Manipulation, Supervision, Management, and Entrepreneurship. Aiming his career into Broadcast Administration.
